I cannot prove that they are wrong (in fact, it'd be really great if they were right about the long-term future), BUT if they *are* wrong then the collateral damage is immense and unjustifiable. And there are a bunch of undefined steps in their plan. The ends don't automatically justify the means.

I feel like the word “unjustifiable” sounds TOO SOFT. The people of Gaza are facing so much threats and mass destruction that the word “unjustifiable” doesn’t completely describe what they’re at risk of. I doubt he means anything he said here

Makes you think how much "the end justifies the means" is not just a glib excuse but an interdependent belief that works both ways - if the end is *not* achieved, for many, the means suddenly become unjustifiable.
