I get that not everyone can tolerate perfumes. But perfume free soaps exist as well as unscented anti-perspirants.

oh yes. I had to special order unscented candles for the house! Couldn’t find any in a store.
Similar trends in crafty household goods too, like candles or diffusers. I get wanting to smell pleasant and I know aromatherapy has benefits. It's the intensity that feels domineering/hostile.
FWIW, I don't want you to feel guilty! Not your fault society uses norms/insecurities to sell this stuff.
