It's already had hockey before, and has no "main tenant", so upfitting it wouldn't suck. But as-is wouldn't be great long term.

I wonder what it would take to hang your shingle out as an official or certified Slate installer - the place people bring their Slates for upfitting and customization. If these things get actual traction, the aftermarket is going to be lit on these things.

you dont have a lot of skills driving a street sweeper to be honest - the workforce driving these things are generally older male operators that will retire in due course; the real high value skillset will be in repairing, upfitting and remote fleet operation of these things.

TIL about Ground Force One. "There are 2 of them and they are 2011 models. The cost to build them was $1.2 million and they were LEASED from Hemphill Brothers that did the final upfitting. They were last used during the Harris/Walz campaign."

During the Biden administration, Holman Parts Distribution, a subsidiary of Holman Automotive Group, provided a "prisoner transport test van insert with accessories."
Holman provides upfitting services at its facility in Bartlett, IL, where DHS says the work is to be performed.

Yea, they are very heavy machines for e0bikes. All the upfitting to make them survive constant use 365 days a year! Most consumer e-bikes will be easier to handle than those.😄🤘🚴

At Q Automotive Group in Springwood, I got to see just how important Ford vehicles are to our commercial customers. This is the largest Ford pre-delivery and upfitting center in Australia and they upfit vehicles for customers ranging from small businesses all the way up to big government fleets.
