camelCase starts with a lower-case letter, UpperCamelCase starts with an upper-case letter, and is thus the same thing as PascalCase, it's just one of those things of people arriving at the same thing by differing routes.

no i get it, i just despise looking at camelCase especially when used for everything. i like the rust way of using UpperCamelCase for stuff like types and traits and snake_case for functions, variables, macros..

While this is true, UpperCamelCase is for posers because it looks like what a sane person would do, and using lowerCamelCase makes you look cool and interesting like a hacker

Feedback: lowerCamelCase is something I've seen in code, but feels out of place for files. If I wanted camel case files I'd definitely look for UpperCamelCase.

I spent maybe 2 hours on this not working to discover my issue was the functions in the other package I declared lowercase... I feel every other discussion said that was go standard; but I guess in packages you expose uppercamelcase functions?

It can go either way, with different organizations using different style guides, though UpperCamelCase is a more specific term.
The most important thing in terms of accessibility is that the rest of the words are capitalized, anyway.
