I can't help thinking back on Gen. "Chappie" James. The first black 2-star General in USAF. He was my Vice Wing Commander when I was at Ubon. To think that a moron like Hogsbreath, would remove this heroe's name and photo, from the Pentagon, makes me sick and disgusted.

We spent a decade plus saying coding was the single most important skill you could have. Coders went from an overinflated sense of importance to being most easily replaced by a machine. I think that says a lot about how tech bro brains are fried in ways the rest of us don't experience.
What kind of weird epistemic closure did we foment where people think the whole world works like a coder? Ia this is about the book fair going the way of the dodo again?
