Ik had het moeten weten. Australië / Terra incognita australis betekent letterlijk 'Neder-land' dus plat als een dubbeltje, en Willunga Hill is de lokale Vamberg. 😬 #TdA25

Love these. VAMberg holds a special place in my heart for Lars van der Haar winning CX Euros there a few years back. he has been one of my favorites in CX for ages.

Maakte 1 grote fout: (veel) te laat op pad. Die tijd haaltje nooit meer in op de fiets.
En pech met de wind onderweg.
Dat ik zo nodig spontaan over de VAMberg wilde was alleen maar leuk! Kostte ook tijd.
Uiteindelijk kwam alles nog goed! 🥰

Na de absolute anticlimax in de koninginnenrit van vrijdag krijgen de renners in de Tour of Holland zaterdag zeker geen rust. Etappe vier, met start in Assen, kent namelijk dertien beklimmingen van de VAM-berg en dus wordt er ook op zaterdag een zeer open koers verwacht, in de hoop dat de veiligheid...

Als het tegenvalt qua wind of fout rijden zit er nog genoeg marge.
Die dag ging ik pas om 08:30 op pad of zo, en zat er wat tegen (en liet ik me verleiden door de VAMberg. 🥰❤️🥰🚵🚵♀️🚵♂️).

Nieuwe tentoonstelling over de VAM-berg in informatiecentrum De Blinkerd
Bezoekers van de VAM-berg kunnen vanaf nu een nieuwe tentoonstelling bekijken in informatiecentrum De Blinkerd. De provincie Drenthe werkt hierin samen met organisaties aan natuur, sport en afvalverwerking. De expositie is gratis toegankelijk. Je leert er over natuurherstel, sportieve routes en de circulaire verwerking van afval op deze bijzondere locatie.
