New Delhi, July 1 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Aajeevika Mission - Gramin (VB-G RAM G) Act, aimed at strengthening rural livelihoods with higher wages and guaranteed employment, came into force across India from Wednesday. With the commencement of the Act, eligible rural households will now have a statutory entitlement to 125 days of guaranteed wage employment. The Act seeks to make rural employment more effective, transparent and outcome-oriented while accelerating the creation of durable rural assets, conservation of natural resources, enhancement of agricultural productivity, livelihood promotion and women-led development, according to an official statement.

New Delhi, July 1 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) (VB-G RAM G) Act, 2025 will come into force across rural India on Wednesday, marking the launch of a new framework aimed at strengthening rural employment, livelihood security and sustainable village development by enhancing the statutory wage employment guarantee from 100 days to 125 days per eligible rural household. The Ministry of Rural Development said the new legislation seeks to create durable rural assets and accelerate the Viksit Bharat @2047 vision through improved livelihood opportunities and stronger rural infrastructure.

New Delhi, June 19 (SocialNews.XYZ) The government on Friday said it will deploy more than 100 area officers across the country to support states and union territories ahead of the Viksit Bharat–Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) (VB–G RAM G) Act, 2025, which comes into force on July 1. In a major step towards ensuring seamless implementation of the Act, the area officers will serve as facilitators and resource persons during the rollout phase, working closely with state governments and district administrations to support implementation, strengthen local capacities, facilitate knowledge sharing, help address operational challenges and promote the adoption of good practices, according to the Ministry of Rural Development.

Lucknow, Jan 6 (SocialNews.XYZ) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Tuesday that the Viksit Bharat - Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission – Gramin (VB-G RAM G) Act is going to prove to be a milestone for achieving Viksit Bharat 2047 and hit out at the Congress and its allies for criticising the new rural job law. Addressing mediapersons, the Chief Minister said the VB-G RAM G law will boost rural infrastructure and development in states, as a precursor to building a developed Bharat.

Bhopal, Dec 30 (SocialNews.XYZ) Union Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Tuesday said that any State Assembly passing a resolution against the Viksit Bharat -- Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) (VB-G RAM G) Act would be acting against the federal structure enshrined in the Constitution. Chouhan made the remarks in reference to the Punjab Assembly convening a one-day special session to discuss the impact of changes to the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA).
