I was thinking about what does the future look like with the current doomposting and games having no motion, along with the conflict that's impacted eSports plans this year.
We still haven't seen much of VFCR, so the biggest announcements to come are for two guest characters.

I agree, but I think for the average playerbase, things feel stale too, which isn't helping. SF6 and T8 are what they are, Arc's kinda in a rut, SNK is not well regarded for several reason. Folks want something different but nothing is coming soon. Good opportunity for VFCR.

It's worse than the Dark Age era, as someone who lived through that. We had other series back then growing/doing well. I legit think VFCR is going to be crucial. If it succeeds, then there's a light, if it fails, we're going to be in a deep dark age, and it may not recover.

I wish the netcode in VFRevo was acceptable Ecuador to the US. It doesn't seem to be, though I've only had a couple of tests.
Sega needs to up the quality some for VFCR (or it's all the anticheat wrecking it)

I'm definitely somewhere between cautiously optimistic and outright skeptical that the new VF will be great, but worst case scenario i keep playing VF3-5 and thats not a bad thing, those games all kick ass. But I do think there's some cool shit thats been shown off for VFCR so fingers crossed!
