I miss so much when animated movie trailers included rough pencil tests in them, it was so ubiquitous if you go back and look at ones from the 90s. I remember watching the Hunchback of Notre Dame and Pocahontas trailers on my little VHSes over and over just to see it, lol

Compared to using VHSes, you can preserve HD resolution because the video never gets written to tape; it just passes through the analog signal path, and compared to the really perfect even-ness of a filter, this is real RF interference & signal degradation of radio traveling through air. Very cool!
