Silver Nemesis is one of the stories we improbably have among the most copies of. Not quite at Genesis levels, but I ordered him the German DVD with his name in it, he gave me another copy for our 25th anniversary (surprise), way back to we both still have original off-air VHSes tucked away…

Oh yeah, the silver or gold ones? We had those too! The 1995 VHSes were huge, though; I think they were the first example of film cuts I had ever experienced.

It's been while since I've seen that intro from one of the found shorts with the lost italian dub distributed in some FOX VHSes here in Italy in the 90's. Hopefully the other shorts with this dub will be found in the future.

I remember also thinking "I wonder how my middle brother is taking this" because he is quite autistic and one of his comfort VHSes was a construction special about building the WTC and he frequently indicated he wanted to visit it.

..which often had the songs from this release added as bonus features (particularly for the DVD re-releases of S1-3 VHSes)
so it kinda had the disadvantage of not really offering anything new to me even at that time.

Some of the Roger Corman movies I've watched have been scans of old VHSes because that's what's streaming. I'm of mixed feelings on this because there's a real beauty to seeing these films in the same way they were originally sold in. But also every Corman movie should at least have a 2k restoration

Bought the OST of M2 at Gencon 94 after getting the VHSes of it for my birthday. I believe it was Kiseki Video that did them rather than Manga Entertainment but I could be wrong.
