HST 254007 in classic blue grey Intercity 125 livery with yellow lower front body and yellow cab roof, speeding through Thirsk HST 254025 heads north through Thirsk, red tail lights on the rear power car. A photo taken by my mum with me standing just further down the platform taking a similar shot, a moment later. I need to put the 2 shots side by side sometime. Thanks Mum! An HST runs through Thirsk on the middle through lines. The signal box is visible in the distance on the left. Looks like the RH track has had a recent dressing of ballast HST 254029 in original livery at the buffer stops at Kings Cross on the farewell rail tour, with a crowd of enthusiasts on the platform. The HST stands next to an Azuma unit and a Grand Central unit in black and orange on the right

Keetmanshoop man arrested for murder of girlfriend
Staff Reporter A 39-YEAR-OLD man was arrested in Keetmanshoop this weekend for allegedly murdering his girlfriend. The police identified the deceased as 39-year-old Wilhelmina Waterboer. “The suspect and the deceased had an argument that resulted in a fight. The deceased was declared dead upon the arrival of the ambulance,” the police disclosed. According to the police, it is suspected that the cause of death was from internal injuries as no visible injuries or open wounds were found on the body. The police also revealed that the suspect was found in possession of cannabis during his arrest. The suspect is expected to make his first appearance on Monday, 05 October 2026. Just scanned the carvings on Long Meg, Cumbria. 🤔
