I can't stop thinking about how imprisoning a woman for ending a non-viable pregnancy is "protecting the rights of children not-yet-born", but which prolifers are protecting the rights of kids to get vaccines and not die of measles and other VPDs? Bc they're dying.

My predictions for what happens when RFK Jr. is confirmed:
By 2026: He will fake or manipulate data to allegedly show that vaccines cause autism or something else.
2026: Vaccination rates will continue to plummet.
2027-28: Outbreaks of VPDs will increase, and infants and children will die.

I grew up in a farming community. Everyone had a family story about the child/teen in a tractor rollover, grain bin suffocation, animal goring, etc. Vaccination was often scarce/sporadic in rural areas so lots of VPDs too.

I also hope that Canada implements a Visa system, which includes proof of vaccination, for Americans entering Canada. With the complete destruction of all the public safety and reporting systems, and the increase in VPDs, Canada needs to protect the vulnerable people in our communities.

This is a great point. Younger providers have never seen things like epiglottis, measles, even chicken pox in some cases. Find those old grey-haired general pediatricians and ID docs and get them to do some teaching! Grand rounds galore on VPDs!!
As we head into a dangerous anti-science administration, a review of vaccine preventable diseases is a good idea. Epiglottitis could make a comeback, but other bacteria and even chemical injury can also cause the condition. #AAP #PracticalPeds

I’m guessing (hoping) the insurance companies will fight this. They want to manage/minimize risk and costs and vaccines do that. Not by having VPDs run rampant.

All these anti-vaxx parents with kids in private schools are a much greater risk of spreading VPDs since many immigrants are vaccinated against both TB AND MEASLES!
The irony of claiming fear about measles and TB from those seeking asylum while appointing an anti science anti vaccine grifter to HHS is just too much. Fucking post truth world.
