But that's not all. The SYXG100 softsynth, unusable after Win98, has also been reborn by emulating its VL, PVL & SG expansion support and cobbling it together with the pre-existing SYXG50 VSTi. So there is now an SYXG100 VSTi too, for all intents and purposes!

The winning continues!!! Switching to #Bitwig also revived one of my fav #VST2 plugins from #MOTU. Turns out, my old DAW was the problem all along!

40 GB of duplicate plug-ins for me. Okay, I'm not typical, but -- I'll bet you have more space in duplicate plug-ins than you think.

Finally, there's a ton of free VST2 plugins out there. I supplied a few. If you want distortion, bitcrunch, or basically anything just open that google.
Make sure they're VST2. OBS won't support VST3. The advantage is that being older, a lot of free VST2 are available!

It's crazy that Steinberg said "Stop using VST2 NOW!!! Don't release any more plugins as VST2!!! 😠 No yeah it still works fine but we DON'T LIKE IT ANYMORE!!! 😡😡😡" and everyone had to like, actually listen for some reason.

そして気づいたのは、案外、すでに世の中的にVST2はほぼほぼ使われなくなってるか、VST3も同時に用意されてるケースがほとんどということなのだ。
インストール時にVST2も選べるようになってることがほとんどだけど、もはやVST3がデフォでオンになってて、VST2は任意でチェックを入れてインストールするような選択肢になっててもいいんじゃないかとすら思ったんだよね ( ;;;;˘ω˘ )
