A month until VVritten Vees Appreciation Weeks! I'm definitely preparing my recs ahead of time, because I'm hoping there will be enough others I want to read and comment on that I won't have time to go over the fics I'm familiar with! 🤞

You can definitely use #VVVA2026 as a stepping stone to join #veesgossip as well, which is a community of people casually talking about and reccing fics about the Vees all the time!

Hey, my follower count is the Vees' number!

I'd do something to celebrate, but no ideas. Plus, I'm busy with #VVVA2026. If you wanted to celebrate with me, you could post links to your favourite #familyvees and #staticmoth fics? I would love not to be the only one participating in the event.

My pick for an E-rated fic is this #staticmoth piece of pure purple prose! Perfect to read Val pole dancing with, isn't it? Let alone what comes after~

My pick for <5 public bookmarks is this #staticmoth gunplay fic! Vox doesn't know if the gun is loaded. Val wouldn't have had him do this with a loaded gun, right?

My pick for a fic rated M is a #staticmoth fic I'm sure many have read, but always deserves more eyes. Vox tricks Val to see the optometrist, but Vox gets some surprises of his own. Angst and fluff!

My pick for a fic 1-5k is the #staticmoth fic Smoke in my Eyes by Milky_Leaf. A different way someone could be addicted to Val's smoke, and it has nothing to do with his aphrodisiac qualities.

My pick for a oneshot is a Valentino and Velvette friendship piece by EldritchVulpine. Val has a temper. And a bad memory. Unlike other people, Velvette's not afraid.

My pick for a fic 5-10k words is The Art of Pimping. I had to refind it, because I had lost it a while ago and couldn't find it, but what happened in the fic has stuck with me for two years regardless. And here it is! #staticmoth

My pick for a fic with <20 kudos is a #hazbinhotelvees post-S2 fic, where Vox is spiralling after his defeat. Fortunately, despite what he might think, Vel and Val don't think he's not worth their love.

I had a great time! I got so many recs written and read/commented on many in my TBR.

I won't run this again. There's no point in making graphics when no one participates. I already have #veesgossip which is almost only me anyway. I can make challenges for myself if I want~<3

My pick for a fic rated T is this ridiculous story about #staticmoth, drunkenly trapped in a burning hot lift, during their vacation. Vox doesn't want to burn his dicks off, but he also doesn't want to touch the floor.

My pick for a Velvette-centric fic is this mix of accidental pet acquisition which leads into #chaggidoll! Neosaiyanangel wrote this for me a while ago, but it still hits just as good now as it did when I first read it.
