So many good things in process this summer and yet I find myself pondering the existential things.

A friend called for some advice on his camera and while I could offer SOME, and I do have solid rudimentary knowledge, I was struck again by the fact that I am not a very good PHOTOGRAPHER. I think I'm a better road trip partner, cook and location finder. I look around at the art on my walls, a mix of my own and various friends, and each represents a STORY rather than anything that stands on its own. I like a good story. Whether it's this moment with Floofie, a constant inspiration and sounding board for seemingly the entire art-nude community, or a delicate shot of Hailey balancing in mid-air; my attraction to the result is because of the time we spent to get there and the feeling of the day. This time of year I'm outdoors a lot between concerts, day trips and camping. Sometimes I even look forward to the winter so that I can lose myself in editing, which I've come to enjoy more than I thought I would. It's a time when reliving these moments can offer some sunshine in the Northwest gloom. That's why I continue to pursue model photography. Meet amazing people, go to amazing places and make amazing memories. What's not to like?
