Start it for the monster hunting, stay to find out who the real monsters are.

A disabled shapeshifter is the one person standing between a city & corruption both symbolic & literal. An archmage from a rival country can ruin their life or free it.

Do y'all, uh, wanna see my SECOND ever animation, the one I was working on directly before Sono's interrogation frames?

These are the starting frames of an unfinished and unpolished monsterfucker AMV of "Paralyzed" by The Aviators and Lectro Dub. Sorry that it's silent.

#PortfolioDay! 🪶🔥🎨

I'm Verati, a queer ND writer/artist with a love of shapeshifters and supernatural mystery stories! I'm happy to draw pfp, banners, commissioners' characters, you name it! Writing & drawing are my passions & my work as a freelancer. Currently working on my bio degree.
A tired, winged raccoon rests on a shaded branch in the middle of the day. An anthropomorphic white raven, who is a raven-clan phoenix shapeshifter in my upcoming novel. Fire rises from his feathers, and he looks off to the distance as the morning colors of the sky light the background. A massive golden eagle shapeshifting phoenix man. He looks down at the camera with eagle eyes holding a giant black broadsword as lightning cracks behind him. His cape his made of eagle feathers as is the crown on his head. His pauldrons and belt buckle have the same golden compass star. Behind him are gathered storm clouds, and he glows with a golden halo. An art trade for feymien of their character Juniper. She's staring at a broken crystal ball on a countertop in surprise, a little dwarf man staring at it from under her cloak. She wears a purple gown with a fur overcoat, a transluscent blue crown, and hair in blue and purple tones. Behind her is a shelf of books and potions.

This. Like...the sentiment is nice, ig, but maybe commit to it year-round.

If you want to do something tangible, I have a great #📚🪐 book starring a disabled, nonbinary bisexual who fights literal & figurative monsters. Read a sample & check it out at your fave online store:

My book JUST released yesterday on multiple platforms:
books2read.com/u/mgBLNR and verati404.itch.io/echo-sight .

ECHO SIGHT is an SFF queer mystery w/ a side of romance as my snarky POV fights demons & oppressive systems alike.

Behold, one of the bastard villains of my D&D campaign.

Yes, I know it's another redhead. I'm (not) sorry, I know I have a problem.
The bastard villain of my D&D campaign, Apollo, wearing a laurel wreath and a red formal shirt and black tie. He's outside having a smoke. His eyes glow in the darkness.

Poster #2 is going great so far. ^_^ Agh, he'd be such a good candidate for #Mermay, but alas! I have other designs for him.

I don't paint traditionally very often. Yadda yadda afraid of making mistakes–but I kinda like where this one is going?

Hey y'all, what's up? I've decided to pour frustration into #art. Here's my own blorbo, Captain Seryn Elliot, doing the world a favor.

#SingularityHiccup #OC #VeratiArt #DigitalArt

(Bonus points if you know what this is homage to.)
Seryn, the captain of the Matchstick space ship, punches out Trump over a yellow background in homage of a similar Marvel frame of Captain America punching out Hitler. The letters K. O. appear over Trump.

Some rapid #insect #sketches I did tonight. Nothing awesome, but I do like how the bee came out. I'm trying to get both smoother and faster. #bugsky #VeratiArt
Various sketches of insects in blue. A bee is the closest and biggest to the viewer, the top right has a roach, the top left is a faint spider displaying on a flower, and the bottom right corner has the first segment of a mantid.

I do like just drawing for fun, regardless of whether it amounts to anything polished. More often than not, my art isn't really something I consider posting because a lot of them are doodles and studies like this.
A bunch of loose, digital sketches of birds, with a mallard duck in the center. Multiple insect sketches on Clip Studio Paint, including a wasp, a roach, and a stick bug (in the bottom right corner). Various digital sketches of humans in different poses, including a couple from the opening of Chainsaw Man and others of more general action poses.

More of my goth mantis alien, Maddie, with wings after a nice molt. I'm having way too much fun drawing her. It came out so nice!
A yellow-haired mantis girl with wings is removing herself from a dry, cracked husk of skin. The background is green with blue blood splatter.
