things like this are why I'm so vocal about separate, specific administrative accounts - imagine a flaw like this stealing your domain admin creds, rather than just domain user creds

Xerox VersaLink C7025 printers (firmware 57.69.91 and earlier) have vulnerabilities (CVE-2024-12510, CVE-2024-12511) allowing pass-back attacks via LDAP and SMB/FTP, potentially exposing Windows Active Directory credentials. Update to firmware 57.75.53 or implement mitigations.

I spend more money on enterprise printers, and they always work. I have a Xerox Versalink 600. Not only has it never failed (in four years), but it is designed, unlike commodity printers, to be repaired. The downside is that it's huge and heavy, requiring two people to lift and carry.
