Women want me. Fish fear me. Fish want me. Women fear me. Women are fish, fish are fish. Phylogenetically, all vertebrates are fish.

We CT scanned thousands of vertebrates from US natural history collections and made them freely available. Countless people have used the data for research (>200 pubs) and to learn anatomy/morphology.

As fellow vertebrates we should probably vote for people with spines.
We stood on principle.
Labor won in a world of fear.
Here’s what I see from here.

I like and admire vertebrates
NEW: Another Skadden attorney has resigned in protest, citing the law firm’s decision to strike a deal with Trump.

“Skadden is on the wrong side of history. I could no longer stay knowing that someday I would have to explain why I stayed,” the lawyer, Thomas Sipp, wrote in his resignation letter.

This moray eel has a second jaw hidden in its throat that shoots forward to grab prey, a trait unique among vertebrates found only in 2007. Yet some let trusted divers pet them.

This the right move - and right reason. Hochul should not delay following suit - as should all Dem governors and Rs too to if any vertebrates remain among them.
NEWS --> Gov Josh Shapiro confirms to me that Pennsylvania won't join Trump 250 gala.

“This president routinely makes patriotism partisan and personal—it shouldn’t be that way,” Shapiro tells me, noting that PA businesses didn't want to participate.

Trump 250 Gala Takes Humiliating New Turn as More States Pull Out

Just like vertebrates, cephalopods—such as octopuses and squid—have elaborate brains. Neuroscientists are flocking to them for insights into how intelligence evolved.
Do octopus brains work like humans’—or is there another way to be smart?

I’m always looking for things that explain a lot but that people have a hard time remembering.

Examples: Air is stuff. Pee comes from blood. All land vertebrates have a single common ancestor. Venus is bright enough to cast visible shadows. Clouds are heavy. Bones are alive.

Any others you know?

I prefer voting for vertebrates.

tear it down to the studs, repopulate the party with young, hungry, smart, angry vertebrates
Total collapse.
Dems appear close to surrendering to Trump/GOP on the Laken Riley Act. Dem aides tell me they're particularly rankled with how Sens John Fetterman and Ruben Gallego rushed to endorse the whole bill. That undercut the potential to amend it later.

A new Science study shows that bumble bees can position a ball underneath a fake “flower” to reach a reward, suggesting they can exhibit spontaneous problem-solving and challenging the notion that such advanced cognitive abilities are exclusive to large-brained vertebrates. https://scim.ag/4vs08dC

yeah, this isn't a left v. center matter at all, this is vertebrates vs. invertebrates
Pundits already trying to make Dem base outrage a left vs mods thing, when in reality Neera Tanden is out there retweeting Bernie Sanders

Some who watch this interview have called Hickenlooper a snake, but snakes are vertebrates, and Hick is clearly lacking a spine.
NEW: Only one Senate Democrat (Fetterman) has supported more Trump Cabinet nominees than Colorado’s Sen. Hickenlooper. “Sometimes a no vote, all it does is piss people off,” Hickenlooper said, claiming his support for Trump picks “reduced the damage” to Colorado. #copolitics

Fossils show exceptionally rare evidence of a cloacal vent—the slit that most vertebrates use to excrete, have sex and lay egg—which could shed light on the evolution of the orifice
This may be the oldest ‘butthole’ imprint on Earth
