Not the Vidiians again!

Brannon Braga, creator of the Vidiians, also signed the plate.

The Vidiians will be removing an organ of mine today.

Star Trek: Voyager, the Think Tank mentions they cured the Vidiians but we never see them again.

Problematic phage gap.
The globe that wizard sold me has an entire extra continent that doesn't even exist?

Problematic mage map.
Those boards you're treading not quite meeting?

Problematic stage gap.

One of the alternate Harry Kims in #StarTrekLowerDecks' "Fissure Quest"↖️↗️ is referencing experiences our Kim also made with the Borg in #StarTrekVOY's "Scorpion I"↙️ and with the Vidiians in "Deadlock"↘️.

#StarTrekVoyager S01E04: Phage. Stardate 48532.4. The Vidiians steal Neelix's lungs. They are an alien race suffering from a deadly phage which is slowly destroying their population, so they harvest organs from other species to survive. Rating 7/10. #StarTrek #TrekSky

The large transparent "pod" (and more of the same type) in which the Trill symbiont is kept in #StarTrekTNG's "The Host"⬅️ will be seen again in later #StarTrek episodes. Similar pods are used by the Vidiians to store spare organs in #StarTrekVOY's "Phage"➡️, for example.

Watching magnificent Voyager episode Faces from Season One. The Vidiians split B’Ellana into 2 individuals, a human and Klingon in an attempt to find a cure for the phage. Just a fantastic episode. #StarTrek

34.
The Vidiians were an interesting concept that was poorly utilized.

First game, the Vidiians killed B'Elanna and my crew mutinied. 😵‍💫
Voyager time, glad to see they've got the theme tune in the finished game, hopefully theres some voice work too.

22. The Vidiians were way cooler and scarier than the Kazon and should've been the main villains of early Voyager.
July 26, 2025 at 11:57 PM
70. Most of Voyager's Rogue's Gallery was fucking dooooogshit. Kazon, Vidiians, Malon, ALL DUDS. Hirogen have juice, but that's because they're basically The Predator from the movie The Predator. NULL POINTS.

Species 8472 are pretty cool tho.

there was also that one episode where voyager gets split into two voyagers when they get attacked by the vidiians and harry kim dies on the one voyager so the other voyager sends them their own harry kim before self-destructing. what an absolute mindfuck he has to live with after that.

Kind of reminds me of the Vidiians.

Watching The Phage. The Vidiians are definitely some of the most disturbing aliens for me #StarTrekVOY

I get so tired and sad and exhausted about my usual, "We're never making it to Star Trek," thoughts. Except, sadly, we are. It's just the people leading the charge towards the future don't realize they're the Star Trek "villains".

They're the Cardassians or Vidiians, the 2020s American government.

I am playing 'Star Trek Voyager - Across The Unknown' and I just got B'elanna Torres forever kidnapped by the Vidiians and I feel SO BAD

Starfleet Medical is now nothing more than a corrupt galacticist scam paid for by the Federation but OWNED & controlled by Vidiians. When the Vidiian Virus reached our stars three years ago, Stafleet Medical disgracefully covered the tracks of the Vidiians every step of the way…

Turning, he sketches out the timelines on the chalkboard.

"Or I'm the only original member of Voyager's crew who survived, being sent onto a crew of duplicates while the rest of the real crew were butchered by Vidiians, luring them into a self-destruct trap."

He turns back to the class.

Terminal cancer patients are the Vidiians?
