this is the front cover for my chosen album for my college project (we were meant to be making vinyl covers for a chosen album fyi) it shows lord x pulling out a red ring from the X mark that he has on his chest. this is a reference to an animatic of welcome home cycles, which is a song thats gonna be in sinister minds the pose is also based off of an iconic micheal jackson pose, which is a reference to how I Miss The Quiet and some other songs are very MJ-esque the background features some shattered glass material as well as a checkered pattern being on the floor. this is a very loose reference to that fuckass red ball blue ball special stage in sonic 3 (i THINK. either that or sonic mania) the background is also dark so that lord x stands out more the black rectangle has the names "churgney gurgney" and "marley jauz" at the left side of it, which makes sense because theyre the ones behind the album. "original soundtrack" and "halloween edition" can be seen at the right of that black rectangle. the black rectangle and whats on the right side of it is a reference to some sonic albums having a rectangle at the top with the text "original soundtrack, [__]th anniversary edition" the name of the album ("Sinister Minds") is also seen next to lord x. the text is in the same font thats used in sonic 2. i think. same with the stuff in the black rectangle. correct me if im wrong with any of this info, ty ❤️ this is the back cover for my chosen album. the background is the same as the one in the front cover (except without the glass shattering material) the black rectangle at the top kind of looks like a speech bubble now, with red text saying "WELCOME BACK!" being on it. i wanted it to make it look like lord x himself was the one saying that, especially since "welcome back" is something that he says. in the very middle is a crt tv (which is odd considering its sonic **PC** port, but i blame a sonic.exe related tiktok that had the og sonic.exe game being played on a crt tv) the stuff in the crt tv is somewhat meant to represent the sonic.exe game with the red glitchy background and the sorta "sections" in it too, though theres only 2 sections instead of 3 in the first section, the track listing for the "A side" is seen, while the second section has the "B side" track listing (which is just the instrumentals of the A side but the difference is that the scrapped demo of what could it be is listed there too) this is the disk label for the A side. it shows lord x's faker form in low light. so essentially whenever theres light, the faker form is seen, and whenever theres shadows lord x is seen. the background is dark red this is the disk label for the B side. the background is the same dark red as in side A, and lord x's hand is shown holding a red ring in the middle. the album name "Sinister Minds" is seen sideways next to the ring.
