#VisibleHealth
The #VisibleHealth app is an excellent tool for monitoring my #LongCovid body, with its #Dysautonomia and #PEM.

This morning, for example, it provided me with a clear picture of how Stable my body currently is.

I could probably cope well with the Visible app alone, but I like further insights...

Pre-gym baseline at 12:45:

1.3 Pace Points used so far today; I'm currently 6.2 PP behind today's Pacesetter.
[ #VisibleHealth ]

4 hours Sedentary so far today (mostly lying down); 32 minutes of 'Light' movement and just 9 minutes of 'Moderate' movement this morning.

Finished in the gym.

Ended with a glorious second run on the treadmill, including a 1-minute sprint.

Feeling *amazing* and I've only used 3.4 #VisibleHealth Pace Points!

Still 9.0 daily Pace Points behind today's Pacesetter 😊

18:30 on Wednesday evening.

Resting HARD.

Back behind my daily #VisibleHealth Pacesetter and also well-within my self-set movement limits as measured by my #KiActiv smartwatch.

My legs do feel tired, but this isn't PEM, thankfully 🙏

Pre-gym Baseline at 12:15:

0.7 PacePoints used so far today - 10PP behind today's #VisibleHealth Pacesetter;

29 minutes of 'Light' movement and just 14 minutes of 'Moderate' movement so far today [ #KiActiv smartwatch data ].

After a 3am start, and a 3-hour night-time drive, I'm RESTING today, with lots of SLEEP.

It's now 4pm and I've used just ONE #VisibleHealth Pace Point so far today, as I've kept my heartrate very low.

Two exciting days ahead, so I'm conserving my energy for that ☺️

And looking at my #VisibleHealth Pacesetter, it's clear just how relaxing this trip to York has been; just a single Pace Point used so far today - and it's nearly 12:30pm.

Sad to say, from repeated experiences, that the equivalent train journey would have been much more stressful and exertional.

4am. Sitting in the car at Strensham Services to take my Morning Stability reading on #VisibleHealth:

Not bad considering that I just drove 40 miles 😄

Just lorries out and about on the M5; easy driving.

Monday morning 07:30.

Another TEN HOURS in bed - eight of which sleeping.

And my body seems to be Stable again - VisibleHealth - Ready and Balanced - EliteHRV and KubiosHRV.

Today I will of course keep #pacing everything that I do.

#LongCovid symptom management.

Day 2 of my half-term break and I've ventured out in the torrential rain of #StormBoelo to visit the gym.

All 3 HRV-app morning check-ins were exactly where they needed to be:

#VisibleHealth Looking Stable with HRV stable & Resting Heartrate nice & low;

#EliteHRV & #KubiosHRV Ready & Balanced;

12:30pm on Day 1 of my half-term break and I've been sheltering indoors (from #StormAusten outside).

Body is Stable, Balanced and Ready 🙏 and I'm well behind today's #VisibleHealth pacesetter, largely because my Resting Heartrate is so very low 😮
October 23, 2026 at 11:30 AM
Got up. Washed up. Emptied the bins. Made and ate breakfast. Shaved and dressed. Left for work. Drove for 20 minutes...

All within 0.1 of a #VisibleHealth Pace Point 😮

A new Record for me!

My resting heartrate is still in the 60s.

A full day of teaching lies ahead, however!

...And all for fewer than THREE #VisibleHealth PacePoints, because I reclined on the floor in between each activity.

Madly, I'm finishing this gym session even further behind my daily pacesetter 🤪

This is what careful #Pacing looks like 👇

And I feel as AMAZING as ever, post-gym 😊

Sunday 13:45

Pre-gym Baseline:

#KiActiv sportswatch data shows just 40 minutes of 'Light' activity shown in light blue. 11 minutes of 'Moderate' activity shown in dark blue.

#VisibleHealth Pacing Data (based on heartrate) shows just 0.9 out of 24 daily pace points. 10.6 behind today's pacesetter.

#Pacing my Friday well (physically) 🙏

7.6 pace points behind today's daily Pacesetter ( #VisibleHealth )
October 16, 2026 at 12:16 PM
17:30. Very low Resting Heartrate as the day progressed. Just 51bpm sitting here on the sofa 🤔

Incredibly I used just a handful of #VisibleHealth PacePoints today, despite teaching 3 separate 60-minute lessons to teenagers.

Currently 12 PacePoints behind my daily Pacesetter and full of beans 😊
October 16, 2026 at 4:36 PM
...But I was still a whole #VisibleHealth pacepoint ahead of my pacesetter when I started to get sorted for this afternoon's fieldwork. . . [Which was lovely, by the way] ...
October 14, 2026 at 3:47 PM
In bed by 9pm.

I did everything I could to put my #LongCovid body in the best position possible for the inevitable stresses that lie ahead today.

It's now Wednesday morning, 04:45:

#VisibleHealth notes another day-on-day reduction in Resting HR and increase in HRV.

STABLE and STILL IMPROVING!
October 14, 2026 at 3:58 AM
A very active Year 7 Geography lesson that took my heartrate up into my 'Exertion' zone earlier this afternoon.

The #VisibleHealth app showed me how sitting planning at my desk wasn't lowering my heartrate much...

So...

2:40pm.

Left Totnes 7 hours ago.

Drove an hour to E. Cornwall.

Walked 4000 steps -including around an 18th-century Rectory & an immersive Museum.

Explored a small village nearby.

All for less than a single #VisibleHealth Pace Point 😮

Kept heartrate low by sitting regularly on telescopic stool.

Saturday morning.

A good place to end this thread.

Being unwell on Monday (5 days ago) made the working week difficult to pace, but whatever my body was fighting subsided by yesterday 🙏

These are my optimal HRV set of HRV data 👇 as the weekend begins.

#Confused 🤔

7pm on Friday evening after another busy day of teaching.

FOURTEEN #VisibleHealth PacePoints behind my daily pacesetter and my heartrate rarely exceeded 100bpm all day 🤔

#LongCovid is tricksy...
October 9, 2026 at 6:12 PM
Decided to attend our orchestra rehearsal. Parked just outside, so just a few additional steps. All very relaxing.

Back behind my #VisibleHealth pacesetter line 😎

So, by the time I was teaching my fourth lesson of the day, my heartrate was largely into my 'Exertion' zone - Orange bars on the #VisibleHealth heartrate graph below 👇

Finally resting with my feet up in the staff room 🙏
October 7, 2026 at 2:59 PM
Skipping this afternoon's Funk Band rehearsal 😔 & RESTING instead

30 minutes with my feet up in the staff room has started to 'flatten the curve' of my Pacing graph [ #VisibleHealth] 👇

Time to get myself home, for a proper restful evening.

Busiest workday tomorrow 🙏
