What is the flathub repo?

Please run it from command line/terminal and paste the log file here.

The issue should probably be created on the flathub repo of the app, especially when you mention, that the differently packed version works

This issue vokoscreenng 4.6.0 not working. When I record a screen recording with vokoscreenng 4.6.0 it saves a zero sized file. But the Debian 12 software distrubution version 3.5.0 of vokoscreen works. I placed the information on the problem on github including the logs GitHub - vkohaupt/vokoscreenNG: vokoscreenNG is a powerful screencast creator in many languages to record the screen, an area or a window (Linux only). Recording of audio from multiple sources is supported. With the built-in camera support, you can make your video more personal. Other tools such as systray, magnifying glass, countdown, timer, Showclick and Halo support will help under issues and it was removed.

Define does not work. What are the errors, show logs. Where did you post on github and is every trace gone?

I recently posted that Vokoscreen had a version of software that did not match the version thats on flathub. As of july-2025 this has been corrected the version is now 4.3.0 but it does not work on Debian 12 but the Debian distrubution 3.5.0 works. I have posted on Github site for VokoscreenNG stated this fact and providing the log but they removed the issue. I consider this screen recording software vokoscreenNG as suspect, and would like to know if flathub has a method to record user reports on software ?

Flathub is not involed in the verification of an application? How is the blue star activated for an application ? It cannot be just the devloperas flathub must do some verification on the developer to allow the blue star to be valid?? The software from vokoscreenNG specifically show April -2205 version and it is now June-2025 and it is still 4.5.0 on the offcial developer site, vokoscreenNG-Download , but no version 4.5.2. Where is the version 4.5.2 on flathub coming from and how can this descrepency be corrected from Flathub ?

How is the verification of software performed? Is the verification done only by the author of the sofware or the version of the software itself or does flathub verify the software. Example application vokoscreenng as of June-2025 shows version 4.5.2 on flathub but their web site vokoscreenNG-Download shows version 4.5.0 as the latest version **not 4.5.2**
