They’ve forced Mr. Vultaggio to break the buck? Yeah, the only worse sign would be Costco raising the price of the hot dog combo.

Don Vultaggio about to commit a murder

Made me think of an article I read.
"Why is Arizona Iced tea still 99 cents?"

"We're successful, we're debt free we own everything. Why, why have people who are having a hard time paying their rent have to pay more for our drink?"- Don Vultaggio

I like this story, for instance:

"'We're successful, we're debt free, we own everything,' Vultaggio said. 'Why have people who are having a hard time paying their rent pay more for our drink? Maybe it's my little way to give back.'"

There is a real revolution brewing and the elite no matter what their political beliefs are scared with the exception of a few like MacKenzie Scott and perhaps Marc Cuban and Don Vultaggio.

The 99-cent price of AriZona Iced Tea’s signature tallboys has stayed the same for nearly three decades. President Trump’s 50% tariff on imported aluminum may change that. “I hate even the thought of it,” the founder and chairman Don Vultaggio said. nyti.ms/4lkTrVg

this is true, it's cofounder and (I think) now full owner Don Vultaggio, who's pretty consistently wanted to keep that 99¢ price in as many stores as possible

.

Arizona Tea proves capitalism does not require greed.

Don Vultaggio chose stable pricing over endless profit and built trust instead of resentment.

That is public service energy.

Until Don Vultaggio caves to his shareholders and raises the price of a can of Arizona Iced Tea, I consider him the exception to this rule.

“Founder and chairperson Don Vultaggio warns that the tariff increase could force price changes for the first time in 30 years, challenging the brand’s long-standing business strategy and consumer value promise.”

If corporations want to run government

start with Arizona Tea.

Don Vultaggio kept 99 cent cans for decades because he believed people mattered more than squeezing profit.

That mindset belongs in public office.

Thank you Don Vultaggio for being a good person. Isn’t it wild that that’s all it takes? Being a decent person puts Don in a class all his own in the world of CEO’s.
