DC people, niche snowcrete question: has anybody been in Spring Valley near AU's bldg or the Wagshals strip across from Crate and Barrel? Are there elder-friendly clear routes across Mass there? Wondering whether, if I have an Uber drop mom on one side, she'll be able to get to the other.

The Washington Business Journal profiles Bill Fuchs, who bought Wagshal's in 1990 from the Wagshal family and has been steadily expanding the market from its anchor store location at the Spring Valley Shopping Center (4845 Massachusetts Avenue).
