Been loving this walking app thats like an mmorpg but for counting your daily steps. Bit more fun than Google Fit! Called Walkscape, started about 3 weeks ago and been leveling my skills. :)

I've been playing the WalkScape beta and it's ok. I need a fitness app that has the gamification of a kids' app plus the social stickiness and depth of an adults' app. WalkScape is getting there. Right now it plays like an idle game, but maybe that's bc I need to get off my ass more.

I've been playing the WalkScape beta and it's ok. I need a fitness app that has the gamification of a kids' app plus the social stickiness and depth of an adults' app. WalkScape is getting there. Right now it plays like an idle game, but maybe that's bc I need to get off my ass more.

I hit 3,000,000 steps on WalkScape.App today, it’s been a massive assist on my weight loss, by gamifying my every day goals.
Apparently that’s 1500 miles, so I accomplished in 6 months what Vanessa Carlton did in a song and a half, guess I need to step my game up (ugh) She was riding a piano though

Recently I’ve been trying to “crowd out” bad habits instead of giving them up.
For example, I don’t like how much time I spend on TikTok. So I try to crowd out the habit by introducing better ones: Duolingo, minute cryptic, walkscape, ebooks…these are all apps on my phone, so it’s the same medium
