#WarChests
I have no idea. I merely pointed out it wound up in their warchests. Whatever her motive/s, if she had some high-minded cause other than AIPAC support I have not heard it or read about it. The debate about that is a fierce one. I am not part of that fray.

Social Physics Analysis:
AIPAC runs a Smart Selfish Maneuver: facing toxic public backlash, it swaps transparent PAC tags for opaque super PAC warchests, protecting elite influence while projecting grassroots reform.

This to me is kind of terrible strategy: incumbent governors should already have healthy warchests to really on, and prioritizing outgoing D seats over all offensive chances is going to have a lot of poor tradeoffs (though it does explain sinking money into Maine over GA/TX)

Verdict: FAIL — The Path of Deception.
AIPAC reframes a political liability retreat as grassroots empowerment while preserving massive dark money super PAC warchests.

Integrity: Severe Deception (Hypocrisy: 10.5, z: 3)

I took some liberties with "strapped for cash" because small-dollar Democratic fundraising this cycle has been, to use the technical term, fucking bonkers. These are races where the candidates are raising good money but could still use help to keep up with opponents' giant warchests.

My only minor quibble is I’d still categorize TX and KS as a toss up. They’re still within the MOE.

I guess we see what happens with ad spending from the warchests that have been circulating this week.

At least they’re both trending in the right directtion.

i don't know what being a political prodigy means but if it means shunting a bunch of "pro-trans" money into dem warchests gets you places no fucking shit

i do know what "being at the right time and place" means

clearly they're brilliant at what they're doing but what they're doing is ridiculous
September 29, 2026 at 7:24 PM
They think they're stunting on you.

Just sidestep a potentially hot button issue until after November and the warchests are gone and the Republicans can't focus all their energy on culture war bullshit and save the election for punching them in the face for the economy, ICE, and corruption.

Destroying fair use to kill AI will kill fair use and leave AI.

And once fair use is gone, so's culture, and everything is owned by Disney and the other big copyright warchests.

I'd agree. It's not needed atm. Affordability and corruption and the war are plenty of ammunition. You don't need a stray $200m added to Republican warchests right now, and you don't need to run on everything you have in the quiver.

Several 'come & get me' pleas have been issued so far today. Warchests at the ready.
September 1, 2026 at 2:36 PM
I worry about warchests dying out. It's an old reference.

Can't wait for everyone to empty their 'warchests' & make a 'statement of intent' before the transfer window 'slams shut!'

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

the existence of warchests implies the existence of warbutts
August 26, 2026 at 10:20 AM
the existence of warlocks implies the existence of warkeys and maybe even wardoors... maybe not since there's already warchests
August 26, 2026 at 10:20 AM
it really depends on how the individual candidate financials are doing for the House and Senate (and making sure those numbers aren't skewed by incumbents who will cruise to reelection but are nontheless sitting on huge warchests, e.g. Mark Warner).
This seems bad imo

The biggest problem with trend-chasing investors is the same problem as trend-chasing game publishers: Only entrenched parties with their own warchests have funding to do things that aren't on-trend.
August 19, 2026 at 9:42 PM
Status quo Democrats in Congress who stand for nothing except their own bloated campaign warchests have resulted in 10+ years of this orange shitstain in the public domain.
August 13, 2026 at 5:43 PM
Vote them out and not make the big donors nervous. Those warchests don’t fill themselves.

Ken has no vision beyond fundraising. And he’s -$2M there.
August 11, 2026 at 2:29 PM
I did pick the biggest senate warchests, but still
August 10, 2026 at 3:39 PM
Yep, the party went broke after 2012 because Obama won and all the liberal donors dried up because "We won, guys! Racism is over!"

You can't fill those warchests when you're in power, so they have to stay #TheResistance forever.

You are falling again for the Art of Distractions. Trump is money Laundering and helping others build warchests via Crypto and Bitcoin. youtu.be/nmJWjACWvIc?...

Hopefully the court will recognize this as the classic SLAPP lawsuit and hold Exxon accountable. Otherwise we can expect more and more fossil fuel companies to use their corporate warchests to squelch protected speech.

Appointees to the boards of our Crowns have donated $170K to Sask. Party election warchests.

Several have also openly supported — or even legislated — efforts to sell off our Crowns.

We can't let this happen. We have to fight back.

Observation. Can it be?

After 15 years of Citizens United, pouring unlimited money into politics, people in the USA are waking up, realising that big warchests are maybe not the best way to do politics. And those warchests are certainly NOT fighting for YOUR rights.

Back to policy & politics?
