I don’t think the WashPo intended this ad to appear like this. But I’ll take it.

And by conservative media we’re talking about FoxNews and the others, CBS, CNN, WSJ, WashPo, NYTimes, etc.

A Republican House candidate in Nevada “inflated his military record multiple times in recent years by falsely claiming he received a Bronze Star ‘for valor,’” It's called "stealing valor" and is disgusting. WashPo

There are the "button-press" gadgets used by some pets, but their best use is by pets who can use the audio cues to go "Oi! Human!" when said humans are too clueless to pick up the subtler aspects of their gestural language: archive.ph/oG8KS (WashPo summary). Not so great for orders the other way

Pat getting his own VTuber clipshow channel is gonna a "fart gas in WashPo" level cultural osmosis hazard in a few years oh god

One assumes that little if anything will change unless and until people stop purchasing their product. But given that some legacy platforms are essentially subsidized loss leaders for this or that oligarch (e.g., WASHPO), I'm not sure that even declining subscriber numbers will change things.

Eggheads eggheading in the op-ed section of WashPo.

‘Musk’ film is almost four hours long, engrossing and terrifying. What to know. (WashPo)
The documentary paints the tech titan as a power-hungry megalomaniacal con man with a god complex. Musk accuses the filmmaker of compiling a “hit list” against him.

From WashPo - The documentary, which spans his early Silicon Valley days through his DOGE dalliances and Twitter acquisition to his ascent to becoming the first trillionaire, paints Musk as an emotionally unstable grifter with more power and influence than perhaps any other human who has ever lived.

WashPo breaks news that #trump has authorized or pledged at least $410 million to facilitate agreements with 31 countries, mostly in Africa and Latin America, to transfer detained #migrants there (no matter where their home co is). #eternal #jail. And no due process.

Disgusting sadism. We must get this criminal asshole out of the White House. We can't wait 2 1/2 years.

They had the support of Ben Bradlee/Washington Post. Now WashPo has gone to the dogs (no offense to canines). We cannot continue to allow greedy, expedient rich boys to control the news.

Movies are perfect vehicles for propagandists with cash.

I don't even think they mind losing money (e.g., Bezos/Amazon films/WASHPO).

not sure who's keeping things alive at WashPo to congratulate but good for at least pissing him off
September 19, 2026 at 3:56 PM
far and away the most informative outlet on "here's what this list of relevant people said and did about this topic today," and also one of the most facile for "here's what we think this all means over the long term"

WashPo is now easily beating it in the second department though, sadly

so the president wants to ban CNN, MS NOW, and Politico from the White House, right after CNN and Politico both drop extremely damaging national security stories (and WashPo too)

so I'll sure be keeping an eye on MS NOW for the next hour or two

WashPo jumped the shark as soon as Bezos took over. Spite? More like survival, jackasses.
September 18, 2026 at 2:13 AM
WashPo is pathetic.
September 17, 2026 at 9:46 PM
WashPo is owned by Bezos.

It's a MAGA tabloid now.

It's basically an ameriKKKan version of the Völkischer Beobachter....

Gas prices are about to take a big jump, analysts say, with the worst still to come. The forecast of economic impacts beyond November’s midterms contrast with the Trump administration’s optimistic messaging. (WashPo)

So, GOP mid-term voters cannot complain about shooting their own feet.
