The lawn daisy, Bellis perennis, is edible, and may be quite nutritious. One study suggested daisies contain up to 34mg vitamin C per 100g (lemons contain ~53 mg per 100g). Flower buds & young leaves can be eaten raw, but older leaves are astringent #WeedAppreciationDay #272sci
