Rufus' has little to no preferences in regards to clothes, his only criterion is that they have to be baggy.
It's easier to hide self-harm cuts without having to worry about friction with baggy clothes.

Sandalphon's suffering hour (featuring my new obsession)

Fugel may not understand a single thing that is happening but he's sure as hell not going to let Sandalphon like that without trying his absolute best to help. But he can also see that the Primal Beast is in a major panic attack, he can't be too abrupt or overwhelming. It will make everything worse if possible. He will not risk it. He approached carefully before kneeling in front of him, but still keeping enough distance to not overwhelm him or scare him even more. You helped me; now it's my turn. "Sandalphon?" He called him softly while not keeping his eyes away from him, in case he noticed any negative reactions. But he only shuddered and his panicked, and filled to the brim with pain and fear, ruby eyes managed to find his gold and teal ones. His wings slightly relaxed as a wave of relief hit him. He is hearing him. He's not far enough into his panic to not react to what he could do or say. I can help him. I can do it.

As he sees the Red Tide flooding the empty conservation area, he understands where this sound in his ears came from. It was the Red Tide calling him. Are all the Ascendants hearing this when it's moving to claim back a portion of this world? Or is it because he's close? Chrome has no idea of the answers, but plenty of time to find them. He has no wish to ask Vonnegut for those— even if he knows that he would answer any questions he has. This guy wants him on his side way too much… He's sure he would be honest on the chance he can convince him to come to his side. As if he has any intention on being in anyone's faction, right now. At least, he considers himself to be lucky to not had the displeasure to deal with Roland's antics just yet. Vonnegut's endless attempts at swayed him are already enough of a headaches-inducing nightmare.
