Early on this feed, let me acknowledge the importance of the work done by Richard Bennett, aka the Heavy Metal Handcyclist.
I liked his technique of intimidating a Council with so much FOI paperwork, that it would be easier just to remove the barrier 👍.

I've now reached the point where even WhatDoTheyKnow recognise from the communication that I am being prevented access to information that should be available via a straightforward FOI. Unsurprisingly, the response I keep getting from the EHRC on a similar request is following that same playbook.
