I haven't started #LamentofAutumn so I may not be on here for awhile. I hate spoilers. Still watching #ShadowPunisher which I'm finding mostly okay, but not great. Finished #WhispersofFate which had some great episodes and some crappy episodes. 😒 Also watching #LovveoftheDevineTree. 🤷 #cdrama

"Vanity piece" for #LuoYunxi! I felt that way with #WhispersofFate! That's why I felt hesitant about #ShadowPunisher!

Continuing #SpringoftheBlade and #AgainsttheCurrent at a slow pace. Also continuing #WhispersofFate where #BaiShu has a great support role, and just started #ShadowPunisher which also stars #LuoYunxi and #FangYilun. I've started several other older dramas, but they aren't very exciting. 🤷

#ShadowPunisher Drama also pairs #LuoLunXi and #AlanFang (FangYiLun) again!
Both were nemeses in #WhispersOfFate

Original & New version just #MysticNine are so very good!!
#WilliamChan looks exactly the same from the original 10 years ago!
#HansonYing is also superb then and now reprising his role as seemingly clumsy skiddish brilliant 8th Master!
He's the comic relief and he brings it!

I see from your chart that you watched a few of the ones I didn’t - such as #WhenDestinyBringsTheDemon & #WhispersofFate 👍

Yes, #WhispersofFate has some eye-catching costumes (even though the drama wasn’t for me). My memory of #RebelPrincess is vague now, but I remember Zhang Ziyi looking great in her costumes

I haven’t watched #WhispersofFate, but in #MoonlitReunion there are some deaths towards the end - HOWEVER you have to remember that it’s a xianxia-type story, so some of these ‘deaths’ are not really deaths 😉 (meaning they are & they aren’t - you need to see it to know the context)

lol - I’m reluctant to say because I know others totally loved these 🫣
Ok, some dramas I found boring (or unsuited to my mood) & dropped are
#ADreamWithinADream,
#WhenDestinyBringstheDemon,
#WhispersofFate,
#LearningToLove
& #GlassHeart
I do plan on returning to a couple of these to try again 🙏

I think we’ve seen many of the same dramas 🙂 - there are a few I haven’t watched partly because they don’t interest me personally, but there are others I’ve been curious about (such as #WhispersofFate) that I’ve heard others talk about a bit

She’s starred in so many dramas already - *just this year* (2025) she’s been in #LesBelles, #MoonlitReunion, #TheBlossomingLove, #TheSevenRelicsofIllOmen, #SwordRose & #WhispersofFate !

I found #WhispersofFate a bit too OTT (despite being very pretty!), so I haven’t made much progress with it yet; but I wonder if - even though Alan Feng’s character plays a villain to start with - he may turn out to have another side to him later on?
