I watched the first 8 episodes of #cdrama #WhereTheMaskEnds
I admired #TianXiWei in #MoonlitReunion #PursuitOfJade #NewLifeBegins & i really wanted to love it
But for several reasons I can't. One is that it physically pains to see her lost so much weight that it scares.

Ive read other examples for Support cast like him who have no actual queer character.
I was curious about one of main cast of #Desire #LiPeiEn who was in other #cdrama before like in #MoonlitReunion but I haven't seen him in an drama yet that was filmed after Desire...

TRTS starts dark for FL but after the first few episodes the angst is rather low imo...but we're only 2/3 through...

Probably because I was in Sydney working long hours for a lot of the year I got out of the #CDrama habit. Gonna dip back in by rewatching #MoonlitReunion!

I’ve liked her in everything I’ve seen her in 🙂
Some of her roles are lighter (eg, #WrongCarriageRightGroom & at least parts of #NewLifeBegins, tho it has heavier sides too), while others more demanding (such as #MoonlitReunion) - but she’s clearly a standout presence in all of them

For those who don’t know, this cdrama, #GenerationToGeneration, is directed by Lu Haojiji - directer of #TheDouble, #MoonlitReunion & forthcoming #Rebirth (aka #PrincessAgents2) - so we know it will have lovely cinematography, vivid characters & dynamic action 🙂
Although it doesn’t have English subtitles, the trailer for #GenerationToGeneration looks great! 🔥 - I’m so much looking forward to this #cdrama
Upcoming cdrama #GenerationToGeneration releases official trailer featuring leads #BaoShangen and #ZhouYiran.
Broadcast on February 22nd!

I am 🙂 - it’s directed by the same person (Lu Haojiji) responsible for #TheDouble & #MoonlitReunion, so we know it will be visually arresting & dynamic (if nothing else)
It’s one of the dramas I’ve been looking forward (he’s got another one, #Rebirth, due to drop soon too)

Day 24: Favourite Costumes
There have been many lovely costumes in dramas this year, but Tian Xiwei in #MoonlitReunion had some of the most beautiful 😻
(As @tinacmml.bsky.social highlights in her post, she also wore an abundance of different designs for the drama!)

#MoonlitReunion has some of the most unique aesthetic costumes & sets of any drama this year, & some great characters (cat Lord cat 🐈 & snake Lord 🐍) - so you might want to check it out for that
I’m definitely with you in looking forward to #TheUncloudedSoul 👍

I haven’t watched #WhispersofFate, but in #MoonlitReunion there are some deaths towards the end - HOWEVER you have to remember that it’s a xianxia-type story, so some of these ‘deaths’ are not really deaths 😉 (meaning they are & they aren’t - you need to see it to know the context)

I loved both of these! - as others have said, it feels wrong to pit them against each other!
But if I have to make a choice, #MoonlitReunion has such a unique aesthetic fingerprint & such unique characters - Cat Lord 🐈 , Snake Lord 🐍 & Daoist student - that it gets my 🗳️
