Pretty unhappy that I found out this was happening on Bluesky instead of having Tapas contact us directly to answer our questions. But yeah, my comic Wildskies was on Tapas so I'm one of the artists affected by this and thank you for doing this

A man and a woman in medieval fantasy clothing stand back-to-back in front of the golden glow of a fire, looking over their shoulders into each other's eyes. The background is a forest, a moon is rising between the trees, a werewolf howls from atop a pile of stones. Done in Clip Studio. Cover art for my fantasy graphic novel, Wildskies. In the foreground we see the four main characters, a young native woman wearing armor made of skins and furs at the top, beneath her a young viking man with a sword, and behind her an old woman with a staff. They are perched on a wind-blown rocky outcropping. Behind them is the open ocean with a sky that has a few clouds in the distance. On the left side are more rocky cliffs with wolf-back riders staring out at a viking ship in the waters below. In the far distance a dragon flies in the sky. A red-haired queen sits on a driftwood throne in the far right foreground. She wears a crown of twigs and pearls. She is breastfeeding a baby in her lap. Her dress is green and bedecked with leaves. Ivy twines up the driftwood throne. Mushrooms grow at her feet. She is sitting on a platform of rock overlooking a beach where the spindly trunks of trees are still burning in a raging wildfire. Smoke fills the sky overhead. A raven flies above. Beside her stands a blonde man wearing a blue cloak and armor made of driftwood. He has a sword in one hand, and at his feet is an otter. A man and a woman (both in fantasy/medieval garb; he looks like a knight, she looks like an assassin) stand back to back on the edge of a rocky cliff. His horse is rearing up in the background. In the middle distance is a castle wreathed in mist and beyond that snowy mountains. Digital illustration done in Clip Studio

TY for hosting! Happy Monday!! (It's the first day of school here and my house is so quiet 🥳)

I do romantasy covers, comics, fantasy art, children's books and whatever else comes my way!
Romantasy cover for Francesca Crispo's "Beloved." A man and a woman in medieval fantasy clothing stand back-to-back in front of the golden glow of a fire, looking over their shoulders into each other's eyes. The background is a forest, a moon is rising between the trees, a werewolf howls from atop a pile of stones. Done in Clip Studio. Cover for issue #3 of Goldslingers; two women with guns are pointing their weapons in opposite directions on the front cover. On the back, a wyvern is attacking a train car that is stuck on railroad tracks in the desert. A man is on top of the train attempting to defend it with an axe while other passengers look on. Done in Clip Studio. Cover art for my fantasy graphic novel, Wildskies. In the foreground we see the four main characters, a young native woman wearing armor made of skins and furs at the top, beneath her a young viking man with a sword, and behind her an old woman with a staff. I took over 30 photos at Currumbin's Wildskies Bird Show yesterday, and this is as good as it gets. Having a macaw and a red-tailed black cockatoo swoop less than a meter above my head was incredible to experience... capturing it on camera is another story!

A page from my webcomic, Wildskies. On the far left is a tall panel showing the main Viking characters climbing a rope up a cliff face. The next panel (reading from top) shows the a viking hauling himself up over the ledge at the top. The next panel shows the final viking getting a hand up to the top of the ledge to join his companions. The fourth panel is a close up on the main antagonist's face--the leader of the viking warband--as he says, "this is it--this is the one we want." The final panel is an up-angled shot from behind and below the vikings as they all look up at the trunk of an enormous tree. The text reads (from the villain), "Cut it down."

This came up in my old photo memories, omg sometimes I really miss when my babies were small 😍😭
In the upper left corner of the photo you can see a baby's legs and little yellow rain boots, he's got one of my white gel pens in his hands. There are two open sketchbooks, one he's been scribbling in and the one I was drawing in. The pencil drawing from my sketchbook as seen in the first image. It's from my comic, Wildskies. The main character is cuddling a puffin/gryphon baby.

Dragonriders of Pern fan art done in Clip Studio paint--digital illustration. A red haired woman is reaching up to the sky, face up-tilted to watch bronze, brown, green, blue and gold fire lizards whirling all around her. She stands on a beach between rocks with the waves behind her. Pern fan art of red-haired Mirrim and her green dragon Path, flying over some snowy mountains, her arm is outstretched toward her brown fire lizard overhead. She is wearing aviator goggles, a hat and a leather coat. My original illustration based on Dragonflight. The sky in the background is a minty-green in homage to Michael Whelan's original cover art. Ramoth, the giant golden dragon, flies in front of the enormous Red Star. In the foreground, Lessa stands in her flying leathers, holding the flamethrower nozzle with the pack on her back, ready to fight Thread. Do not use for AI/machine learning.
