Backyard shot of the Pacman nebula (NGC281) in SHO palette.
Nebula that is supposed to be reminscent of packman in shape, edged with redish (sulphur gass) with green (hydrogen) & blue (oxygen) interior. Featuring finger like pillar structures & small dark bok globules all hinting at areas of star formation.

Last night's effort on IC1396 The Elephant's trunk nebula from my backyard.
Predominately red (Ha) round emision nebula with many dark nebula through including the long narrow pillar of the elephant's trunk & many stars, the most prominent being the red garnet star.
