Rooting around my stuff in my parents house, came across my old #SimEarth manual. Pretty sure I learned ecology from this manual. Opened it up to find a write up from James Lovelock himself! Of course at 8 I had no idea who that was.

Windows is designed so that the user MUST allow Windows Update to be resident and able to modify your computer. Microsoft is using Windows Update to bypass any protection of data the user attempts

Windows is not safe in a Corporate environment, never mind a National environment

What was the last usable version of Windows? I would say 7. I heard XP, but I think 7 was just a good/usable piece of software because they wanted the money. Microsoft just didn´t think they owed the user anything anymore. But after that, they just stopped making good systems. Fuck Windows.

The browser I use got received an update a few days ago (I tend to leave it running). It has a built-in option to hide AI results. The important part: it defaults to ON, as in "hide the computer lies".
