A+++ for “illiterate golf lizard.” That’s just quality wordsmithing right there
I love this shit. It is really helpful/handy that "illiterate golf lizard who is part of three active ponzi schemes at any given time theatrically cry-bragging about how scared he is of cities" is both something like the median GOP voter and also a real-life elected official.

This is wordsmithing at the highest level. I am in awe.
When we lived in Hong Kong, our Amah Ah Loh called Kleenex “Honky Papers” and thus they have been ever since.
What completely random and family specific idioms did people use growing up?

I'll go first.

My grandad, from Dublin, whenever he was describing a situation that was either one thing or the other:

"It's neither arsehole nor watercress"

Luntz, with his wordsmithing, is part of the reason we're here. He can go fuck all the way off.

“AI assisted” is still generative LLM. Don’t defend wordsmithing.
The anger is warranted and valid and everything, but it is worth noting that the stuff they call "ai-assisted" isn't actually genAI. Recommendations, automod, etc. all predate genAI stuff and is just normal machine learning stuff. It's a matter of co-opting stuff to juice numbers.
