SKULDUGGERY: Sneaky, underhanded behavior.

Historians place it in the mid-1800s. Believed adapted from Scottish term 'Skuldudrie', meaning obscene/lewd behavior. Sometimes spelled with an additional 'L', though the similarity to 'Skulls' is coincidental #wordwednesday
