For a decade, planning policy in England defined cars as "sustainable" if they were low (exhaust) emission, ignoring their wider impacts on people, place-making and nature.

A small change slipped out in the new #NPPF last month corrected that. Happy #WorldCarFreeDay!

Das geht natürlich gar nicht. Zumindest nicht in Deutschland.

Wir alle müssen viel mehr und öfter Auto fahren und demzufolge mehr Autos kaufen, damit unsere Wirtschaft läuft. 🤷‍♂️😉
