My best writer self care tip is.. TAKE A BREAK!
There’s only so much you can do staring at a screen or empty notepad. Go do something fun, take a nap, lay in the sun, anything. This often helps me to reset and gets the inspiration going again

My kids are “too grown” for me to read aloud to them 🙄 but I’ll be read to all day long with a very long list of audiobooks! Because, it’s the only way my sick, ND self can retain anything rn.
