In #MathsToday I worked with two Y11 students.
They struggled to 'describe' 4/7 and both thought it was less than 1/2, as here.
And they found it challenging to find pairs of numbers that sum to 100, but it was within their reach [excuse my upside down writing].

⚽👏 Y11 boys’ football: Albion 4-1 Co-op Walkden!

A dominant display from start to finish, with the boys showing great resilience to score three second-half goals and secure the win. Special mentions to Mohand in midfield and Tafadzwa at centre-back for standout performances

Many thanks to all the organisations and companies that joined us for our Drop Drop Down Day and Careers Fair on Monday. Y7 and Y8 enjoyed a workshop by a Gospel Choir as part of Black History Season, whilst Y10 and Y11 met many employers and found out about different pathways at the Careers event.

This week we released the results of our first ever national post-16 assessment.

14 colleges & 4910 students took part.

The reliability of the human & AI judges was very good!

Wasn’t Sam in Y11 last year sitting GCSEs? Have I missed something? Is he redoing the year or in the 6th form still wearing uniform? #corrie

For any Australian Y11 Maths Methods teachers, I've collated all my lessons for the year and shared them on TES. We used the Nelson WA Textbook, so they're aligned to those exercises.
Hopefully it can save someone some time!
