#YearOfTheLinuxDesktop has gone well for me so far since installing on 1st January 2026.
It's met all the daily usage requirements so far. Handles SMB shares faster than Windows.
RDP feels like it's better quality in Remmina than mstsc somehow for my Lightroom server.

#YearOfTheLinuxDesktop has gone well for me so far since installing on 1st January 2026.
It's met all the daily usage requirements so far. Handles SMB shares faster than Windows.
RDP feels like it's better quality in Remmina than mstsc somehow for my Lightroom server.

just give me a WORKABLE linux that runs on any lenovo thinkpad or apple macbook and that has windows minimise, maximise and a CAPS LOCK that works xubuntu and maybe kinoite are the only options right now its about time omarchy lived up…
