I think it’s more that he won’t stand up to a minority of his “supporters” - many of whom are fair weather friends - because of this notion that he has to appeal to the Corbynistas ans neutralise YourParty. He’d probably have more support if he stood up to them now, but it would be a bloody mess.

Good thing James Heartfield only gets reads from the extreme Right and Xbots now. For people not in that bubble, he's a far Right Farage ally, ex-communist, who used the Covid crisis to come out as fascist. Here he dehumanizes Palestine Solidarity members as insects, presumably to be exterminated.
