On top of the Zeiram species being biological weapons. The first one very much also having different phases with transformations. Basically not only the formula for many RE monsters, but other major video game bosses in general. The literal rule of three.

The first one I bought was the second one I saw, called Iria: Zeiram the Animation. I also got my name changed to Iria 19 years ago. That was a wonderful day!😊

I seem to recall preferring the OAV, but that was a loooong time ago, and it's a good watch either way.

Gunhed is a beautifully creative movie with the budget of, like, 80s Doctor Who. Fantastic miniatures and production design, even if it’s a little more slow burn and low-key than, say, Zeiram or the Godzillas of the time

Bon pour moi ça sera surtout Toku donc Zeiram évidemment, le Gamera j'hésite et par contre très curieux du Satellite mystérieux qui a l'air d'avoir une patte rétro que j'aime beaucoup

A Resident Evil movie made in the style of a mid 90s tokusatsu movie like Zeiram would go hard af.
