Zarkon as Gwui-Ma. I'd be tempted to have Lotor's Generals as the initial Saja boys (Zethrid=Abby) with Shiro as the one with the tragic tricked into being a Demon/Galra plot and falling for Keith after 400 years of service, questioning choosing his dreams over Adam all that time ago.
Horrendous, it's got both bury your gays (Adam) and shove Shiro to the arms of a random man and give him an out of character ending. At least Ezor and Zethrid got the good ending :_)

Plus both visual and thematic similarities/parallels between other canon couples like Keith’s parents (SO many) and Ezor/Zethrid.

He carried Regris’ whole dead weight over his shoulders in a full on sprint when Regris is twice his size. He can lift Shiro’s dead weight with one arm while injured. He pulled Zethrid out of a volcano (also) with one arm after being strangled. Call him small, sure, but he’s muscular!
