As the guy who wrote the book on zoning abolition, I'd like to go on record as saying: if you can use zoning to stop the concentration camps, fucking go for it.
Local zoning is the way! A lot of these are being stopped or stalled by neighborhood organizing.
These warehouses often need to be purchased, permitted, approved for occupancy and specs. Each one of those steps can be interrupted.

I dunno if I'm the last one to hear about this? But the reason the president is sending the *National Guard* to Portland is because the city mailed the government's landlord...a zoning violation notice?

okay everything is bad and horrible but I like the zoning violation ding
DOJ: Three agencies have had to surge forces to ICE facility to help with protestors. Local forces have refused to provide sufficient help when requested. ICE installed boards on building windows for protection, then city ordered them to remove boards, said it was zoning violation.
