From what I can track AA2012/6JUN cxld at ORD and the plane never left town.
The aircraft is assigned to AA2012/7JUN per FlightStats, though that was filed before the cxl happened. Similarly FlightAware shows it assigned for this morning. FR24 doesn't have a frame assigned yet for AA2012/7JUN.

American says tickets for the inaugural 789P (new, high-J 787) go on sale Monday. But seats are already on sale, under the old aircraft assignments. Book AA2012/5JUN for ~$115 or just 9k AAdvantage points in Y. AA98/5JUN ORD-LHR is a reasonable 30k in Y or 50K in PremY. J is not reasonable.

N842AA completed what appears to be a test flight yesterday, circling around west of Chicago for a couple hours. Following this successful test flight, the aircraft is now operating AA2012 from ORD to LAX as I speak.
