🔭 Saw this release from AAVSO - mag 7.3 nova in Sagitta - N Sge 2026 - first found in outburst less than 24 hours ago. This will be an easy target (though a very crowded field) for northern hemisphere observers, and still decently high for southern hemisphere

Had a good night on T CrB. Still kinda quiet averaging 9.3 magnitude in SR over 2 hour series last night. Shot taken at Great Basin Observatory.

When we are still waiting the blast of the recurrent nova T CrB, a bright nova appeared in Lupus‼️
Last AAVSO member estimation says it reached magnitude 5.6 in June, 21. It’s a huge increase from the B magnitude 22.3 prior to this explosion.
