Frankly, I have no idea if we can beat Trump on immigration, but given that the government's position is now demanding the abnegation of the 5th and 14th Amendments we should probably find out sooner rather than later.

What does "acknowledging" mean? I hear this exhortation a lot directed towards people who, by reasonable definitions of the word, acknowledge these things! In practice what's being asked for is performative social media self-abnegation, and we should talk about these requests in those terms
I can think of a couple. One is acknowledging the horrors. It sounds like you've made progress on this, but many haven't. It's an act of bravery as much as facing down an ICE goons, and we will need epistemic bravery to fix our problems.
