ACGAS FINALE

Been a good day; got stuff done and watched Bill and Ted, The Day The Earth Stood Still, PAOTY and ACGAS. Had to put the heating on mid afternoon; the whole flat felt chilly and damp with all the rain. Watching Gosford Park for the umpteenth time, such a great film.

It’s been ages since I’ve been uncontainably obsessed with the lives of fictional characters but I may have sailed the 🏴‍☠️ seas for S7 of ACGAS, desperate to know the fallout after an exquisite S6 but heartbreaking Christmas Special. Now it is all I think about. I even made a playlist.

Back from quiz (where we came second 😡) and watching #ACGAS. I love Jimmy and Rosie.

Channel 5 ACGAS -

What an episode!! So well acted and written, the dawn of realisation in Siegfrieds mind, 7 years ago if he’d spoken to me - I’d have saved him time!! ❤️

Do you watch the new ACGAS on 5? It’s lovely.

I need Dorothy to go away. Hope that wedding doesn't happen. #ACGAS #AllCreaturesGreatAndSmall

Catching up with ACGAS - and my mum had similar experience to Mrs Hall, except it was coal not bread.

The story: mum was pregnant (and that’s a story in itself!) and was given a doctor's note - basically a prescription- for coal.)

She went to the coal merchant who said that he didn’t have any.

All Creatures Great & Small #ACGAS may not be the most challenging TV but it is a rare example of a series done so well in everything: production values, acting, small stories & narrative arc that you simply can enjoy it.

Series 7 has been the patchiest to date - but episode 6 made it all worth it.

Mrs Hall should have done a Jean Valjean and stole the load of bread from the baker's. #ACGAS

Siegfried doesn't seem very excited for someone about to get married. Secret feelings for Mrs Hall about to emerge? #ACGAS

Siegfried being happy to wait with the horse even though he might miss his wedding to Dorothy absolutely would not be the case if he was getting married to Mrs Hall instead. #ACGAS

So…a constipated horse was Siegfried in this metaphor?! Appropriate.

Bye Dorothy! 👋

And now for the long wait for the Christmas special. Will he tell Audrey how he feels or will it be drawn out for season 7? #acgas

I don’t like him either, but I still watch the programme. I used to watch #ACGAS back in the 70s - Robert Hardy was a fox hunter.

Sorry, I came across as judgy. It's a personal choice & until I stop buying stuff from Amazon, I'm in no place to judge.

I used to watch ACGAS too, partly because my parents liked it. Do you remember the olden days when an entire family watched one telly & the phone was in the hall😄

Finally remembered to watch season 7 of ACGAS. And the bloody first episode is about a poorly old cat. I fear for my tear ducts in the next half hour
