Not that I’m gonna paint them right away, but I built this first sodality of Aquilon Terminators (w/ Combi-Destructors and Gauntlets) for funsies. They’re so chonky, I love them.

Would have loved some unhelmeted heads in the kit.

Kerberon Ipsilos, Warder of the Benighted Fount, Gaoler of the Doom-Giver of Saros, Vexilla Custodian of the Ruby Shield Sodality of Shadowkeepers.

The Vexilla had snapped in half, but not clean. I repaired it, but covered the fix with old Custodes bits.

Today, I managed to basecoat the black (as well as the glazes of off-black) armour on all other five Custodes, and I highlit the black armour on the two other Sentinel Guards. Tomorrow, I’ll highlight the Custodian Guards’ armour and do whatever else I can.

These are so much fun to do and take so little time, I’m tempted to grab some of my other Custodes and give them bases like those.

Five “marble” bases for Custodes models. All that’s left is to put models on them, and paint the rims.

#hobbystreak Day 736 & 737

My hectic week continues but I got a few more things done. I painted some of the interiors of the Tiger Moth Kit, gave the Runepriest a wash and start the rest of the Custodes Jetbikes.

One of the interior panels of the Tiger Moth. Another one of the interior walls of the Tiger Moth. A light wash on the Dwarf Runpriest next up will be figuring out the No Metallic Metal. A start on the remaining 3 Custodes Jetbikes.

It's been awhile since I built at Games Workshop miniature, but on day 1838 of the #hobbystreak, I returned to the Horus Heresy. I built one of the new Aquilion Terminators for the Custodes. Now I will want to know how to build the rest of the Sodality. #TheHorusHeresy #AdeptusCustodes
